The first time I met Austin was days after I had just moved into the apartment above him and he came to introduce himself. We proceeded to chat and get to know each other for an hour, and I remember thinking that I had never met someone so genuinely outgoing, caring, and energetic. My opinion of him has not wavered in the two years that we have been friends, and he is without a doubt the most qualified candidate I could imagine for SSMU president. His immense knowledge of McGill's structures, his ability to engage anyone in an intelligible conversation, and the professionalism he has already demonstrated through the HR work he has done at McGill make me proud to say that I am voting Austin Johnson to be SSMU president for my final year at McGill.
