Why did you wear a hat at the candidates debate? (generalized) -#SSMUbates Chat Room

Why the hat?
I love hats, but that is not the actual reason I wore a hat to the debate. The reason I wore the hat is because I want correspondence and continuity (a principle of graphic design - I love graphic design. I did all of my graphics and my website myself!) regarding my personal image throughout the campaign period. The more people can recognize me either by visual cues or even in conversation describing me (e.g. "the candidate with the hat") the better!.

It is disrespectful to wear a hat. Why would you wear a hat to a presidential debate?
In response to the alleged #SnapBackGate. I am sorry if wearing a hat made you think I don't take this seriously. I do, and I would love to respond to anyone personally who doesn't think that I am. You can even challenge me on that anonymously on the budget page of my website. Please see the above question for the reason that I decided to wear the hat, well knowing that a small population of people may not find it appropriate. What is under the hat?
My hair which I used to think was blonde but is actually brown. I don't store things in my hat because they fit my head well and have no room. I also cannot think of anything I would store in my hat. 

Why is it a penguins hat?
Coincidence actually. When I had my campaign photos taken by Adam Banks I just so happened to be wearing it. I have lots of hats, I collect them and love them all. 

How many hats do you have?
I have 15 that are actually still in rotation. Plenty more, but they are old or weird colors that I don't often wear. You can leave a comment if you want to know what all 15 hats are or if you have any further pressing issues!
